Avoid wearing a turban or stop uploading videos, Nihangs warn the owner of Kulhad Pizza.

Kulhad Pizza couple is once again embroiled in controversy after members of the Nihang Sikh community here caused a scene outside their restaurant and issued them a stern warning. The Nihangs, led by Baba Maan Singh, called on the couple to delete a viral video that they deemed inappropriate and harmful to children.

They threatened strict action if the police did not intervene by October 18 and said they would close the couple’s restaurant themselves.

In a protest a few days ago, Baba Maan Singh had planned a dharna against the couple today. However, this morning he released a video in which he stated that the protest had been postponed for four days due to the fall of Valmiki Jayanti on Thursday.

Nevertheless, tensions remain. The Nihangs gave the couple an ultimatum: If the “controversial viral video” and other videos reflecting intimacy are not removed from social media, they will take action. They added that if the couple wanted to continue posting such videos, the man should avoid wearing a Sikh turban as it would be seen as disrespecting the Sikh community.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time the couple has faced backlash. The Nihangs had previously protested against the video in front of their restaurant and accused them of disrespecting society. Although the police calmed the situation, the group made it clear that it would escalate its actions if a solution was not found.

In a new twist, Hindu leader Sadhvi Devi Thakur has supported the couple and questioned why only they are being targeted. The couple themselves released a video stating that they were planning to visit the Golden Temple to seek clarity on the matter and had sought protection from Akal Takht Sahib.
