At FREESKIER we see a lot of deep snow skiing. A lot. It’s one of the best parts of the job. So when we say that Wildcard is one of our favorite Pow films of the last few years, know that statement carries weight. Strictly has made a name for itself through its annual feature films. But in 2021, they decided to split their efforts between three projects, with “Wildcard” focusing on two things; Skiing in the deepest powder snow and huge backcountry kickers.

It’s a tempting recipe that becomes even better when you add a few placeholders! We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but the team pulled out all the stops and brought along a few names you know and love. Andrew Mildenberger added his signature style behind the lens, creating a film that will undoubtedly age like a bottle of fine wine.
