Bumpsuit opens first physical location in Domain Northside

Bumpsuit is opening its first physical location in Domain Northside this November.

The details

According to a press release, the company will fill the 3,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Skims Workshop.

The store will sell underwear, shapewear, loungewear, healing compression garments, occasion wear for events and baby showers and more. Additionally, the store will feature the Bumpsuit Marketplace, featuring 25 mom-approved products.

The location offers an interactive play and seating area for families and children while shopping. The community can look forward to weekly in-store events including labor and delivery classes, mommy and me events and sound baths.

The backstory

Nicole Trunfio founded the company in 2020 during her third pregnancy after looking for a versatile solution between pregnancy and postpartum style, as mentioned in the press release. Trunfio said the success of the brand’s first pop-up location in Los Angeles sparked interest in opening a location in Austin.

“Our Austin store will not only carry all of our high-quality products and apparel, but will also serve as a place for moms to meet, learn, access resources and support one another,” Trunfio said in the release.
