The Maw: What’s new in PC gaming this week?

The Maw: What’s new in PC gaming this week?

Happy mid-October everyone! It’s throwing it down here. This week I’m mostly playing a game I made up called There’s A Hole In My Raincoat And I Can’t Find It. It’s unlikely that The Maw will be saturated with such flotsam, so it’s a good thing there are a ton of new PC games on the schedule too. Please let your gaze wander as I experiment again by putting my coat over a light bulb.

Experience the permadeath potential of Bonzai Windmills in mini-golf roguelite Up To Par on Monday, October 14th. Build a fairy colony and slaughter Celtic myths in the action on Tuesday, October 15th in Elven City Simulator -RPG Drova: Forsaken King and befriend a wolf in the wistful platformer Neva. Nothing will happen on Wednesday, October 16th. Nothing at all – not even the mocking movement of the eternal wind over the bones of our once noble civilizations as they crumble into threads and the sun sinks hopelessly below the washed-out horizon, reappearing on Thursday, October 17th, when there is a new Mechwarrior game there. and also Sniper Killer, in which you play both the titular gun-killer and a detective trying to catch her. And finally, on Friday October 18th there is Limb. It’s a speak-to-see horror game.

As always, these are just my highlights. Your highlights may vary. Come let’s pit our highlights against each other in a grueling turn-based deck-building battle. However, please note that I may play a “steal” card and steal any games you suggest for our news live blog below. Have a nice week.
