Looking for a good scare and all things spooky? Look no further, we have a killer gig for you!

With National Horror Film Day (October 23rdapprox) And Halloween Just in time for spooky season, we’ve concocted the ultimate dream job for thrill seekers and horror fans.

We are looking for that Ultimate Halloween Horror Movie Tester to help us crown the scariest movie of all. They rate horror films based on frightening criteria like: average BPM (yes, we track your heart rate), jump scare count, scream count, eye-covering moments, goosebumps per scene, and sleep disturbance rating!

The best part? You’ll get $2,500 for your bravery (or screams) for watching and rating the following films: The Exorcist, Hereditary, The Conjuring, Insidious and The Ring.

Do you think you can handle it? This is how it works

It’s as easy as screaming “BOO” – Submit your application below, keep your fingers crossed and hope you’re the chosen one! The lucky horror fan will You’ll receive $2,000 plus an additional $500 for your comfort snacks for these exciting scenes, a Heart rate monitor to follow these terrible moments and everything necessary Streaming subscriptions!

The winner must rate each horror film based on the following criteria:

  1. Average BPM: Track how fast your heart races throughout the entire film
  1. Jump scare counts: How many times have you jumped out of your seat?
  1. Scream counts: How many times did you scream?
  1. Number of eye covers: How often have you covered your eyes?
  1. Goosebumps count: How many times have you felt that hair-raising chill?
  1. Sleep disturbance score: On a scale of 1 (I slept like a baby) to 5 (left the lights on), how difficult was it to fall asleep afterward?

You will watch and then set to music the following horror films: The Exorcist, Hereditary, The Conjuring, Insidious and The Ring.

The application deadline is Halloween, October 31stst2024 at 12pm EST. Please read this General terms and conditions here. Only applicants from the United States and California can apply.

The winner will be notified within 5 working days of the closing date for entries. Once accepted, winner will receive $500 to purchase snacks, any required subscriptions and a heart rate monitor. You must watch every film by November 30thTh and submit your reviews by December 5thTh2024. After submission, the winner will receive $2,000.
