How do I use low light mode on WhatsApp?

To use WhatsApp’s low light mode, you need to tap on the light bulb logo during a video call. The new feature is available in both the iOS and Android versions of the application, but has not yet made its way to the web app.

Step by Step Guide to Enable Low Light Mode on WhatsApp:

– Open WhatsApp

– Connect a video call

– During the video call, tap the light bulb logo in the top right corner

– Turn off low light mode if you don’t find it relevant

WhatsApp also recently released a new update that allows users to personalize their conversations with a chat topic. According to WABetaInfo, the new custom chat themes feature is available to select beta users starting with WhatsApp version 2.24.21.34 for Android and version 24.20.71 for iOS.

WhatsApp users who have signed up for the Google Play Beta program will likely have access to 22 different themes, each with up to 20 color variants. These customizations can include options to customize both the chat background and the color of the conversation itself.

The new “Chat Theme” settings page will significantly expand the personalization options. Users will likely be able to apply a universal theme to all conversations or set custom themes for specific chats, offering a new level of flexibility. In particular, the themes are only visible to the user who applied them, ensuring the privacy of both parties.
