The term for Gladiator II has been revealed as tickets for the highly anticipated epic sequel are now on sale.

Now, fandango revealed this Term for Gladiator IIso two hours and 28 minutes. This means that the sequel will be around seven minutes shorter than the original 2000 film. The detail also appears official, as several other chains such as Regal and AMC Theaters have stated the same running time.

Gladiator 2 is the sequel to Ridley Scott’s award-winning 2000 film Gladiator. Scott returns to direct the sequel, starring Paul Mescal as Lucius, Denzel Washington and Joseph Quinn as the villain Emperor Geta. Gladiator 2 was stuck in development hell for years before a script written by David Scarpa finally moved forward.
