Scream debuts on Netflix and immediately hits the streamer’s film charts

Horror movie fans with a Netflix subscription have a whole new set of options to watch this spooky season. Like Netflix originals The platform 2 And It’s what’s inside made a splash on the service earlier this month, and several popular horror franchises have landed entries on Netflix in recent weeks. 2018 Halloween And A Quiet Place Part II were both added to Netflix’s streaming lineup in October, alongside one of the latest films in the popular series Scream Franchise.

Scream returned in 2022 with a film that was part reboot, part sequel, combining the original cast with a brand new roster of Woodsboro victims. Director: Radio Silence, the first Scream The film since Wes Craven’s death has been both a commercial and critical success.

As with the other films in the series Scream (yes, the same name as the original film) has many dedicated fans who enjoy watching the film on a regular basis. It appears that many of these fans also have Netflix subscriptions.

Immediately after landing on Netflix, Scream found its way into the streamer’s daily changing film charts. Watch the Sunday edition of the Netflix top 10 films list Scream as the seventh most watched film currently playing on the service. As the week progresses and Halloween gets closer and closer, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see this Scream rise even higher in the ranks.
