‘SNL’: Ariana Grande almost collapses during duel with Jennifer Coolidge Impressions

Ariana Grande and Chloe Fineman entertained the studio audience and viewers at home with their mirrored impersonations of Jennifer Coolidge on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend — and the skit was so funny that Grande almost completely broke character.

Both actresses nailed Coolidge’s signature voice and mannerisms. Grande snorted audibly just a minute and a half after suggesting to Fineman’s Coolidge that she tell her date that night that she would choose crab walking if she had superpowers.

The couple also laughed as they sprayed each other with Windex bottles to clean the “mirror” between them. After Fineman asked Grande’s Coolidge what her lips looked like from the side, Grande was replaced by Dana Carvey, also dressed as Coolidge.

“Yeah, wow,” Carvey cooed as he took over. “Thank God you opened the mirror, I’ve been trapped here for years.”

The three then decided to apply more lip color at the same time, which almost caused each of them to break again.
