The week starts warm, but then the temperatures drop

The forecast for tonight:
Temperatures will be cool this evening, so a jacket will be necessary for setting off on Monday morning. It will be a clear night with light winds across southern Colorado.

Colorado Springs Forecast: Low: 42; High: 79;
Monday morning will be chilly and you’ll probably need a jacket, but then you can shed that extra layer in the afternoon when the temperature rises to about 14 degrees above average. It will be partly cloudy with light winds from the SW at 2-8 mph.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 42; High: 83;
Partly cloudy on Monday, with a cool morning and a very warm afternoon. The forecast maximum temperature is 13 degrees above average. Winds will be light WSW at 2-8 mph.

Canon City forecast: Low: 49; High: 82;
Partly cloudy Monday with warm temperatures and a light wind from the W at 5-10 mph, gusting to 15 mph.

Woodland Park Forecast: Low: 38; High: 71;
Monday will be cool and clear in the morning, with high clouds and mild temperatures in the afternoon.

Tri Lakes Forecast: Low: 43; High: 74;
Monday will be partly cloudy, with cool mornings and warm afternoons. Winds will be WSW at 5-10 mph.

Plains forecast: Low: 30s/40s; High: 80s;
Monday will start off cool in the morning with temperatures in the 30s and 40s, followed by a quick warm-up to the low 80s. The sky will be partly cloudy.

Forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 44/47; High: 78/80;
Cool in the morning and then warm Monday afternoon with a light WSW breeze at 5-10 mph.

Mountain Forecast: Low: 30s; High: 70s;
In the mountain valleys it is cool between 30 and 30 °C in the morning and warms up to 70 °C in the afternoon. It will be partly cloudy and there will be a light westerly wind.

Advanced Forecast Forecast:
A cold front will arrive from the northeast Tuesday morning that will cool temperatures a few degrees, to 60 degrees in the mountains and 70 degrees in the plains. These temperatures will continue until the end of the week and it will generally be a dry week with high clouds.

From Friday and until next weekend there will be a clear trend reversal, with high temperatures cooling down to over 50 and 60 degrees. Showers are also possible from Friday and will last until Sunday. The exact timing of precipitation and temperature forecast will fluctuate as weather models gain a clearer picture of our incoming system.
