Honor of Kings Championship 2024: Schedule, Results, Format

The Gorge comes back to life as the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship arrives in Indonesia.

Starting October 12, 2024, the best teams from around the world will meet in Jakarta and fight for the coveted title and the lion’s share of the huge $1 million prize pool.

What is the Honor of Kings Championship 2024?

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship is the culminating event of the 2024 season, serving as the world championship and grand final of the first-ever Honor of Kings Invitational Series.

As the successor to the original International Championship, it marks a significant change in the competitive scene, with no Chinese teams taking part for the first time in the tournament’s history.

Instead, Chinese teams will compete in the KPL Grand Finals, while the best international teams battle for global supremacy in the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship.

Honor of Kings Championship 2024 format

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship begins with the group stage from October 12th to 17th.

In the group stage, the 16 teams will be split into four groups of four to compete in a single round-robin best-of-three (Bo3) format.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs, which will take place October 18-19 and October 25-27.

In the playoffs there is a double-elimination bracket, in which the group winners are seeded in order not to have to compete against each other in the first game.

All playoff matches will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) format, while the grand final will be a best-of-seven match (Bo7).
