Will Smith is preparing to reunite the Bad Boys for the Netflix film

Will Smith set up a line Bad boys See you again for a new Netflix movie.

Nearly 30 years after the release of the hit action comedy, director Michael Bay is on board to helm Smith’s new action film Fast and easy (above deadline).

“Fast and easy “follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

“As he reconstructs his past, he learns that he has led two lives: one as a crime boss and the other as an undercover CIA agent.”

Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson wrote the script based on the Hoeber brothers’ original script.

In addition to his starring role, Smith will also produce the film, alongside Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Jon Mone, Ryan Shimazaki and his former manager James Lassiter – who also founded a production company with the actor.

Executive producers include Robert Simonds, Noah Fogelson and Barry Waldman.

Bay notably directed the first two films Bad boys franchises released in 1995 and 2003. He also directed the first five Transformers films, as well The rock, Pearl Harbor And The island.

In the fourth part, Smith reprized his role as Mike Lowrey Bad boys Film, Bad Boys: Ride or DieEarlier this year. It grossed more than $220 million worldwide, pushing the entire series over the $1 billion mark at the global box office.

The actor has since landed a role in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Resistancewhich tells the story of a physicist who discovers a device that can reflect gravity.

Last month it was announced that Smith had reportedly walked away from his role in the new action film Sugar bandits due to scheduling conflicts.

Directed by Stefano Sollima, the film centers on a former Special Forces soldier who joins a vigilante group to eradicate the drug trade in Boston.

Fast and easy does not yet have a release date. Bad Boys: Ride or Die is streaming on Netflix in the US.
