Patrol reports 16 arrests in northern Missouri between October 10 and October 13, 2024

Between October 10, 2024 and October 13, 2024, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a total of 16 arrests in northern Missouri. The arrests included charges related to driving under the influence, traffic violations and other crimes in several counties.

Christopher G. Baker25, of Princeton, Missouri, was arrested in Mercer County on October 11, 2024 at 11:45 p.m. He was charged with driving under the influence and fired from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department after his arrest.

Steven M. Richardson27, of Savannah, Missouri, was arrested on October 12, 2024 at 1:19 a.m. in Buchanan County. Multiple charges were filed against Richardson, including driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to stop for a continuous red light, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, turning at a traffic light-controlled intersection, and operating a motorcycle without a valid driver’s license. He was held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center for 24 hours.

Chester A. Kramer21, of Jamesport, Missouri, was arrested at 2:00 a.m. on October 12, 2024 in Grundy County. Kramer was charged with driving under the influence, failing to drive on the right side of the road and operating a vehicle without insurance. Following his arrest, he was released from the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center.

Brian O. Torres Lopez29, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested in Buchanan County on October 12, 2024 at 2:46 p.m. He had a Buchanan County warrant for his arrest and was held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center where he was sentenced to prison.

Jacob P Richmond41, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Livingston County on October 12, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Richmond was charged with driving under the influence, exceeding the speed limit and driving without insurance. After the arrest, he was fired from the Chillicothe Police Department.

Michael E. McGaughy58, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested in Buchanan County on October 12, 2024 at 3:36 p.m. He had a Buchanan County warrant for his arrest and was being held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center where he was held on bond.

Tiffany N. Buntemeyer31, of Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested in Clinton County on October 12, 2024 at 11:05 p.m. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a person under the age of 16 in the vehicle, exceeding the posted speed limit and driving in a careless and careless manner. Buntemeyer was held at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department for 12 hours.

Alexander J. Arnold18, of McFall, Missouri, was arrested in Daviess County on October 12, 2024 at 11:40 p.m. Arnold was charged with driving under the influence and held at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail for 12 hours.

Javaria McDonald22, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested on October 13, 2024 at 8:41 a.m. in Buchanan County. McDonald had a warrant for failing to appear in court and was also charged with speeding. He was being held at the law enforcement center and was bonded.

Justin L. Hayes43, of Kirksville, Missouri, was arrested in Adair County on October 10, 2024 at 10:58 p.m. Hayes was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane. He was examined at the side of the road and released.

Douglas E Bross28, of Palmyra, Missouri, was arrested in Marion County on October 11, 2024 at 11:40 p.m. Bross was charged with driving under the influence and careless and careless driving. He was released after seeking medical treatment.

Darwin U. Reyes Melgar34, of Plainfield, New Jersey, was arrested on October 12, 2024 at 1:31 a.m. in Adair County. Reyes Melgar was charged with drunk driving, speeding and failure to keep to the right side of the road. He was examined at the side of the road and released.

Cynthia A. Taylor42, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested in Scotland County on October 12, 2024 at 6:10 p.m. Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated. She was held in the Scotland County Jail for 12 hours.

Eugene A. Swartz52, of Edina, Missouri, was arrested in Knox County on October 12, 2024 at 10:25 p.m. Swartz was charged with drunken driving and fired from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department after his arrest.

Latangela E. Clark44, of Kirksville, Missouri, was arrested on October 13, 2024 at 1:53 a.m. in Adair County. She was charged with driving drunk and failing to signal. Clark was released from the Adair County Jail following her arrest.

Basilio Pascual Pedro43, of Memphis, Missouri, was arrested on October 13, 2024 at 9:33 a.m. in Scotland County. Pedro was charged with drunk driving, negligent and careless driving, not having a valid driver’s license and not having insurance. He was held at the Scotland County Jail and released.
