NBA News: Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards compares himself to his all-time favorite player

The U.S. men’s basketball team’s performance at the Olympics was nothing short of superlative and was crowned with a gold medal. One of the outstanding players was Anthony Edwardswhich is now on the verge of an outbreak N.B.A season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After his impressive Olympic performance Edwards enters the season as a key player for the Timberwolves. His form in pre-season has already proven that he is ready as he helped lead the team to two wins.

Before the season opener, Edwards spoke with Interview magazine about Kevin Durant, his favorite player of all time: “Before I met him I thought he was super cool, and then when I met him I realized we were the same.”

Edwards continued: “All we want to do is tire. We let our people take control of our stuff‘But we just want to go on the court and play basketball. I realized that when I was with him for the first time.”
