RAPID CITY, SD – The Journey Museum in Rapid City is on the final day of its FREE Community Weekend. Today, admission is free to pay tribute to the community the museum has built over the years.

Many fun activities are still available. A STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) event about lunar cycles was planned for the weekend, as well as a visit from Lakota elder Mike Lammers, who brought games and cultural stories about the stars. Several raffles will be held, including a family membership to the museum and posters from local Lakota artists. Registration will take place tomorrow at the raffle at reception.

The Journey Museum is located at 222 New York Street, Rapid City, SD and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. To get involved or support the museum, visit Journeymuseum.org
