Crystal Palace could reportedly be willing to allow Ismaila Sarr to make a surprise move away from the club in the January transfer window amid interest from AC Milan.

The Senegal international only moved to Palace this summer, but surprise reports have already suggested he could leave Selhurst Park this winter for a reduced fee of just £13million.

It hasn’t been the best start to the season for Palace, although Oliver Glasner initially looked like an excellent fit when he took over last season.

Sarr hasn’t had the desired impact at the Eagles so far, although in fairness it was never going to be easy for the club to replace what Michael Olise gave them in attack, with the Frenchman being acquired from Bayern Munich in the summer after a long saga , which also linked him with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Milan are now reportedly keen on Sarr as the 26-year-old is seen as a possible solution to the Italian giants’ attack.

Palace fans will surely have mixed feelings about this surprising report from the Italian press. Some will probably think he’s worth keeping around for a little longer, while others might think that after such a disappointing start to life, it might be wise to cash in on him in London.
