This Absolutely Huge Python Apparently Ate a Cow (Video)

A video circulating online a year after someone originally posted it on Reddit is both frightening and confusing. It features an absolutely enormous python writhing in a covered barn with a rope around its neck. The python has a large bulge in its body, and this bulge is apparently a cow that the snake has just eaten. Exactly, a cow.

Although the Reddit user did not claim in the original post that the python ate a cow, several news sources picked up the video and reported that a farmer in India found the snake right after eating his livestock. Then the farmer is said to have caught the snake with a lasso to free it from the barn. (We’re not sure how that worked out, and we’d really like to see a second part of this video.)

Do we buy this story? Did this python eat a cow? How long did it take? We have so many questions.

While there’s no proof that the python in the video above actually ate a cow before the camera started rolling, we know it’s possible. It turns out there are other videos of pythons eating cows.
