My Hero Academia: You’re Next review – Dark Might Rises

You’re next had the potential to be the strongest film in the series, especially at a time when superhero culture as a whole is making more subversive and reflexive choices that boldly re-examine the nature of heroes, villains, and what they represent. Up to this point, My Hero Academia: You are next It is extremely unlikely to attract new fans. It’s telling a story that really only appeals to the established audience, and that’s the film’s target audience. That’s not necessarily unexpected or even a problem for a series that spans four movies and seven seasons. You’re next knows how to simply play the hits and make his loyal fans cheer. It’s a decision that’s understandable, but one that still limits the franchise’s potential. This can feel like splitting hairs and is rather worrying The one from My Hero Academia first film. The process would benefit from a tighter pace and different priorities in relation to what is receiving so much attention. You’re next Plus, you’re doing yourself a disservice when you start with arguably the best fight sequence and then struggle to achieve that theatrics by embracing the idea that “the bigger the better.” If you’re looking for eye-catching action sequences, beautifully animated superpower spectacles and worthwhile character moments, you’ll find them here You’re next satisfied. However, viewers who want something more or a challenging narrative that can rise to the occasion and keep up with the demands of the subject matter will find themselves asking, “What’s next?” You’re next.
