Caitlin Clark’s loyal fan and former NBA star has one word in response to Angle Reese’s bold photos

Even though their rookie campaigns are over, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese fans still seem to be at odds. Their rivalry, which began as early as the 2023 national championship game, continues to be the main topic of conversation for many basketball fans and analysts. When the Chicago Sky star’s eye-catching pictures from a photo shoot resurfaced, former NBA guard Rashad McCants, who has been a vocal supporter of Clark, couldn’t help but chime in in the comments section.

β€œCooked!!! πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ,” Rashad McCants responded to the tweet that showed Reese’s pictures. The tweet the former star replied to was viewed over 25 million times in just 24 hours. These pictures were reportedly taken after Reese’s alma mater, LSU’s win in the NCAA Tournament last year. Even though Sky Forward hasn’t uploaded it to her account now, she’s still getting attention. But such attention is nothing new for them Chi Town Barbie. A few hours ago, she even responded to haters after her latest episode of the podcast received mixed reviews.

Angel Reese wrote: β€œHating also pays off.” It was probably intended for the people who didn’t like the podcast, but in the current circumstances it can be applied to McCants because he didn’t seem to agree with the picture. Not to be forgotten, the 40-year-old has been a vocal supporter of Caitlin Clark for quite some time. He even hyped up the WNBA RoTY when they set a record against Reese’s Chicago in August.

Against the Sky, Caitlin Clark recorded the first game with 30 points and 12+ assists in WNBA history. McCants wrote: β€œWe won’t stop being great!!!!! This is just the beginning!!!!! CC.” The Indiana Fever would win the game handily 100-81. Not to be forgotten, the Des Moines, Iowa native was incredibly efficient, shooting 8 of 14 from the field and 5 of 9 from long range – all in just 32 minutes.

That day, even LeBron James was fascinated by the Caitlin Clark effect, writing: β€œCAITLIN CLARK!!!!! Hello haters. Still, McCants has unabashedly supported the Fever newcomer, especially at Gil’s Arena.

Before A’ja Wilson was unanimously named MVP, there was some talk about Caitlin Clark and her MVP credentials. One of the loudest supporters at the time was Gil’s Arena member. And two months ago he wrote: β€œThey will respect her whether they like it or not!!!!! Regard!!”

Former Sparks player Lexie Brown believed Wilson was more likely to win MVP, an opinion that ultimately resulted in the outcome. But McCants didn’t budge and declared: “She sets new records in the professional league. She says, “No, I’m going to chase that MVP because no one’s fixing it for me.” She’s already broken records, bro. already… What are you all talking about?… Are you discrediting them? She changed the game. That alone as a rookie!”

Whether it’s RoTY or another award, Caitlin Clark has made her decision very clear. β€œI think me and Angel would both give you the same answer. We don’t wake up and think about individual awards.” Both Clark and Angel Reese have the offseason to prepare and hopefully have another season with the same record-breaking performances.
