Kansas State QB Avery Johnson dances like Deion Sanders after the Colorado touchdown

Avery Johnson celebrated in a special way when he reached the end zone on an eight-yard touchdown run in the first quarter of a Big 12 football game against Colorado at Folsom Field on Saturday.

The Kansas State quarterback danced.

But this wasn’t just any dance. He showed off some slick moves, just like Deion Sanders once did when he was a star player in the NFL.

Sanders is now the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, so it made perfect sense for Johnson to pay tribute to him after he scored Kansas State’s first touchdown of the night in that game.

For those unfamiliar with the dance moves Sanders showcased during his touchdowns, they involve hopping back and forth on alternating feet with his elbows extended and parallel to the ground.

Johnson earned the right to dance after dodging a cornerback blitz and charging into the end zone to cut the score to 7-7 in the first quarter.

His touchdown run was good. His touchdown dance might have been even better.
