US Open winners will take home hefty paychecks this year from a record $75 million budget for the final Grand Slam tennis tournament of the season. The total pot is 15% larger than in 2023.

All four semifinalists in both singles draws will receive $1 million each. Notably, this year marks the 50th anniversary of male and female players receiving equal prize money at the tournament.

US Open winners earn more than Wimbledon winners, who each took home £2.7 millionor just over $3.4 million, a significant increase of nearly 15% from 2023, according to the grass tournament’s official prize money figures.

At the US Open, men’s and women’s singles players who make it to the round of 128 (also known as first-round losers in the main draw) will also receive prize money. The payout breakdown is as follows:

Round of 16: $325,000Round of 32: $215,000Round of 64: $140,000Round of 128: $100,000

Doubles players earn significantly less. The women’s and men’s championship doubles teams will each receive $750,000, which will be split between the two players. The second-place teams will each receive $375,000. The mixed doubles winners take home $200,000, while the second-place team receives a check for $100,000.

The women’s final will take place on Saturday, September 7, while the men’s championship game will be played on Sunday.
