Live college football scores, updates: Ole Miss at LSU, Kansas State at Colorado and more

We knew it would be a tall order to compare Week 7 to the drama of Week 6, but it was almost as exciting.

In the main event of the day, No. 3 Oregon defeated No. 2 Ohio State 32-31 in a back-and-forth thriller in Eugene. The Big Ten showdown was the first top-three matchup of the season and featured numerous lead changes at every turn.

Earlier in the day, No. 7 Alabama was dealing with another rock-solid game at home against South Carolina. The Crimson Tide needed some late-game defensive heroics to survive in a 27-25 thriller against the Gamecocks. Later, No. 4 Penn State needed a comeback of its own before pulling out a 33-30 win in overtime at the Coliseum.

Meanwhile, the No. 1 team in the country left no doubt about how the Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma would turn out. The Longhorns allowed an early field goal before scoring 34 straight points in a loss in the Cotton Bowl.

Here’s what we’ll see late Saturday night. Follow all the action live below.

Time: 10:15 p.m. | TV: ESPN | Line: Kansas State -4 | Overall: 56.5

Kansas State is a good benchmark for the Buffaloes’ seemingly improved roster. The team has already matched its 2023 win total and is just two wins away from bowl eligibility. The biggest test for Colorado will be their defense up front. Against the Buffaloes, teams average over 150 rushing yards per game and KSU RB DJ Giddens and QB Avery Johnson each average 7.3 yards per carry.

Live133 updates

  • Ole Miss adds FG

With just over three minutes to play, the Rebels score a field goal to make it a seven-point game.

  • Colorado and K-State were tied in the first half

Meanwhile, in Boulder, the Buffs and Wildcats traded points early with about 10 minutes remaining in the first half.

Shedeur Sanders opened the scoring with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Wester, and then the Wildcats responded with an 11-play, 75-yard drive capped by an 8-yard touchdown run by Avery Johnson.

  • LSU and Ole Miss trade INTs

Things have gotten a little sloppy in Death Valley. One play after Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart intercepted LSU’s Zy Alexander in the end zone, LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier returned the favor by throwing a pick of his own on an ill-advised deep throw into double coverage.

  • Fans storm the field in Eugene

  • The last piece

The Ohio State QB simply ran out of time. Amid the chaos, he couldn’t slide down fast enough.

    What a finish.

  • Oregon wins!

Will Howard runs away but can’t make it in time! The clock runs out and the Ducks win 32-31!

  • Now there’s a huge penalty against Oregon! Illegal substitution. 5 meters.

Ohio State still needs to get closer.

  • Oh man, a HUGE offensive PI call against Ohio State pushes them back to the Oregon 43.

Probably out of field goal range.

    10 seconds left!

  • Ohio State has the ball on the edge of field goal range after Emeka Egbuka successfully completes the ball at Oregon’s 28th line. In less than 30 seconds

  • Final: Tennessee 23, Florida 17

The Vols survive what would have been a huge upset in overtime. After the Gators missed a field goal on their possession, Tennessee hit it into the end zone and won the game.

  • Oregon pushes FG for the lead!

The Ducks are unable to score from the 1 at the goal line and instead opt for a chip shot field goal.

The score is 32-31 Ducks with 1:47 to play

  • After a 2-minute timeout, Oregon threw the ball to the Ohio State 5.

A pass interference call helped them get there. It was a questionable call.

  • LSU adds FG

The Tigers had put together a solid drive and were approaching the red zone before it dried up and they had to settle for a field goal.

    It’s 20-16 Ole Miss.

  • Florida-Tennessee went to OT

Another big game went into overtime today. Why not!?

  • Ole Miss attacks FG

After another field goal by Caden Davis, the Rebels’ lead is back to 7.

There are just under 4 minutes left in the third quarter in Death Valley.

  • Ohio State takes the lead with FG

Jayden Fielding hits from 40 yards and the Buckeyes are back in the lead 31-29.

6 minutes left in Eugene. This will be a fun ending.

  • Florida connects it with Tennessee

Other than that, Florida takes on the PAT and ties No. 8 Tennessee 17-17.

    Playing time: 29 seconds

  • Touchdown Florida!

DJ Lagway finds Chimere Dike for a 27-yard TD on 3rd-and-18!

It looks like the Gators are going for the 2-point winning attempt.

  • LSU misses FG

The Tigers and Rebels exchanged possession in the second half, but no points were scored. The latest: LSU drove to the Ole Miss 28-yard line before kicker Damian Ramos missed a field goal.

    It’s still 17-13 Ole Miss.

  • TD Oregon! Ducks take the lead!

Dillon Gabriel manages a 27-yard touchdown run after the fake!

    It’s a 29-28 lead for Oregon. What. A. Game.
