MEGADETH recently completed “Destroy all enemies” US tour with MUDVAYNE And EVERYTHING THAT REMAINS.

The Trek launched August 2 at Walmart AMP, Rogers, Arkansas and is produced by Live Nationplayed in 33 cities including Las Vegas, Boston and St. Louis before ending in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28th.

Finnish guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari joined MEGADETH in September 2023 after the band’s long-time axeman Kiko Loureiroannounced earlier this month that he would sit out the next game MEGADETH‘S “Destroy the world” Tour to stay home with his children in Finland. This became known later Mäntysaari would continue to play guitar MEGADETH for the foreseeable future Loureiro apparently he has no plans to return.

The 37 year old Mäntysaari was born in Tampere, Finland and started playing guitar at the age of 12. He joined the band in 2004 WINTER SUN. He was also a member of SMACKBOUND since 2015.

MEGADETH played his first concert Mäntysaari on September 6, 2023 at Revel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Loureiro officially joined MEGADETH in April 2015, about five months later Chris Broderick‘s departure from the group.
