Huge potential Pokémon leaks reveal details on Gen 10, MMO in development and more

After so many have been patient, the wait for Pokémon news may soon be over. There may be big leaks about Pokémon and their future plans. So far, the Pokemon leaks could include news about Gen 10 and Legends ZA, as well as a potential MMO in development. This could be one of the biggest leaks in Pokémon history, so be sure to buckle up.

All potential Pokemon leaks for Gen 10, Legends ZA and MMO

We will examine each leak individually and list them below with their source. For now, we’re linking to the sources on Reddit, but taking screenshots in case they get deleted. There’s also the possibility that these aren’t real, but many in the community are starting to believe they are, so keep that in mind too.

This was one of the first indications that it could happen. It looks like we’ll get HG and SS along with BW and BW2 on the Virtual Console at some point.

Then this one was one of the greatest. A potential Pokémon MMO in development. This is the only thing that makes it seem like these leaks could be fake. Mainly due to the fact that players have been hoping for an MMO for years, but Pokemon was seemingly content not to try. This is probably because they are difficult to maintain and can be complete money wasters.

If this is true, it could dwarf every other announcement Pokemon has made in many, many years.

This shows why so many in the community are freaking out about the possible leak. A full terabyte of data leaked affects multiple games and likely many more. There is no doubt that whoever leaked this will run afoul of Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, both of which are known for protecting their intellectual property rights.

How did that happen?

At the moment it looks like the leaks started on 4chan and then spread to Reddit. These too could be completely false, and while there have been many potential leaks over the last year, many have been debunked very quickly. So far it’s just the file size with assets that makes it interesting. There are also posts like this.

If various leakers or that person who is an archivist stays away, then one has to assume that this could be the big one.

While we don’t know exactly who or how leaked this, we can safely assume one of two things. Either Game Freak or The Pokemon Company were hacked. Or a disgruntled or perhaps overly eager employee decided to make a big mistake.

Whichever it is will be worth keeping an eye on, but for now this is our guess as to what’s going on.

What does that mean?

If it’s actually a fake, it might ultimately mean nothing. If this isn’t the case, hopefully we’ll get some news on Pokemon soon. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company will do everything possible behind closed doors to contain this leak. Understandably. But if people are already copying files and are willing to be tracked down and face numerous lawsuits, then we may see an early version of some of these games.
