Takuma Inoue vs. Seiya Tsutsumi start time: Live stream, price, full card and more for the WBA title fight

Takuma Inoue will headline his very own fight card in Japan, defending the WBA bantamweight title against Seiya Tsutsumi.

The main card, “Takuma Inoue vs. Seiya Tsutsumi,” airs at 4 p.m. ET. Inoue and Tsutsumi should make their way to the ring around 7:30 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Takuma (20-1), the brother of undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue, is on a seven-fight winning streak. Local bantamweight gold winner Tsutsumi (11-0-2) hopes to go 2-0 in 2024. He has eight wins by knockout.

In the co-feature, Kenshiro Teraji and Cristofer Rosales fight for the WBC flyweight title. Teraji (23-1) held the light flyweight gold medal from 2017 to 2021, when he lost the WBC title to Masamichi Yabuki and regained the belt from Yabuki in 2022. As recently as January he held the WBA, WBC and ring belts.

“The Amazing Boy” wants to win gold in a different division. Meanwhile, Rosales (37-6) is a former WBC flyweight champion who won gold in 2018. “El Latigo” is on a five-fight winning streak.

Seigo Yuri Akui defends the WBA flyweight title against Thananchai Charunphak. Akui (20-2-1) is 2-0 in 2024 and won the WBA flyweight title earlier this year. Charunphak (25-1) has won 24 consecutive fights and has 15 victories by knockout.

When the card opens, Shokichi Iwata and Jairo Noriega fight for the WBO light flyweight title. Iwata (13-1) is on a four-fight winning streak after failing to capture the WBO belt in 2022. Noriega (14-0) holds European flyweight gold and has three wins by knockout.

Takuma Inoue vs. Seiya Tsutsumi begins in Japan

Inoue vs. Doheny begins at 5:00 p.m. local time. The main event should begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
