Bye Week Watch Thread: Week 7 Viewing Guide, Game and Stream Info, Discussion, Odds

It’s the halfway point of the season and a bye week for Florida State football – one that’s much needed after a 1-5 start to the season.

Instead of struggling to watch the Seminoles continue to try to piece together an identity that they have sorely lacked in all six of their miserable performances so far, it’s a weekend to sit back and watch other teams play – either out of glee or out of jealousy.

The day’s key matchups are the Top 25 showdowns taking place at the Cotton Bowl, Tiger Stadium and Autzen Stadium, where Oregon is 34-1 since 2018.

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns and the No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners meet in the often unpredictable Red River Rivalry. Texas is a 14.5 favorite with an O/U rate of 48.5 points.

No. 9 Ole Miss is at No. 13 LSU in what could be a back-and-forth game that could come down to who has the ball last. Ole Miss is a 3.5 favorite with an O/U of 62.5 points.

No. 2 Ohio State faces No. 3 Oregon Ducks for their first opponent of the season. It could come down to how well Oregon’s struggling offense can move the ball against the solid Buckeye defense. Ohio State is a 2.5 favorite with an O/U of 54.5 points.

Some other games that might be of interest to Seminole fans include: Florida Gators vs. Tennessee, Clemson vs. Wake Forest, and it might be fun to see how hard Alabama beats South Carolina after last week’s embarrassing loss to Vandy .
