Bon Jovi and The War and Treaty release video for political anthem “The People’s House”

Jon Bon Jovi appears with Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr. of The War and Treaty in the video for their collaborative song “The People’s House.”

Bon Jovi and the duo The War and Treaty (former singer-songwriter couple Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter) have released a video for their joint song “The People’s House”. You can watch it below.

The song is by Bon Jovi Forever Album released in June and released as the album’s third single in August. Jon Bon Jovi and The War and Treaty sing on it:

This is the people’s house
From sea to shining sea
The rocky mountains built these walls
These halls are the streets of our city

No wrecking ball will destroy it
Nobody will come to steal the keys
This is the people’s house
The house of you and me

Jon Bon Jovi posted on social media yesterday: “The People’s House is a song that celebrates this beautiful place we call home, from sea to shining sea. …The truth matters. And the truth is that I will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz on Election Day because I believe in the power of us, not the power of me. I wrote a song that reminds us that we are still one among many.”

By the way, Jon Bon Jovi filmed this video in September when he helped save a woman who was thinking about jumping off a bridge in Nashville.

Jon Bon Jovi will star in “An Evening of Conversation” with Stephen Colbert at this year’s Montclair Film Festival’s signature event. The event will take place on October 26th at Prudential Hall at NJPAC in Newark. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.
