What are you playing this weekend? – Issue 550

Is this one of the best weeks in PS5 history? It’s definitely up there. Three major new, critically acclaimed games have been released in the last few days: Silent Hill 2, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and Metaphor ReFantazio. This is a killer pick.

Aaron Bayne

In addition to my near-daily grind of finals, I’ll be attempting to complete my playthrough of Silent Hill 2.

Echo Apsey

I’ll be diving into the top-down action of Kill Knight, which caught my attention back in the spring and is fantastic in every way. I’ll also be looking into continuing my Metaphor: ReFantazio playthrough, which I’ve really enjoyed so far.

Issy van der Velde

I’m going to pick up my game and play more Dishonored 2. I just beat the Clockwork Mansion level and I can see why everyone called it a masterpiece. I have a Corvo mask tattoo and am annoyed that I waited so long to play this gem.

Khayl Adam

I’m looking at Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion for review, and that’s going to take up the lion’s share of my playtime. But metaphor: ReFantazio is out and I managed to squeeze a whole 10 hours into the demo; I also have to find time to beat the first dungeon boss!

Sammy Barker

I haven’t had a chance to play Astro Bot in a while, so I’ll continue with it alongside my usual live service games.

Scott McCrae

This weekend I’ll finish the remake of Silent Hill 2, inevitably have a bit of a meltdown after the end of Water, and then probably work out Sparking Zero for the rest.

Stephen Tailby

I’m currently playing something for review, so I’ll focus on that – but maybe I’ll try to get some time in with Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition. I really enjoyed re-reading this old favorite.

So that’s all we’re playing this weekend – a good mix of stuff and not nearly as much metaphor as expected. What are you playing, dear readers? Let us know below.
