FARMERSVILLE – The only time Farmersville didn’t score in last Friday’s 65-27 win over Bonham was when sophomore quarterback Levi McAbee took a knee as the remaining 29 seconds of game time expired at Farmers Stadium.

Even after the bye week, the Farmers’ offense continued its explosive development. Farmersville scored touchdowns on its first nine possessions and scored 51 first-half points against the Warriors.

Junior running back Gordon Swartz had three touchdowns on runs of 60, 1 and 10 yards. Sophomore quarterback Levi McAbee added four touchdown passes on throws of 48, 56, 52 and 19 yards.

Farmersville scored 30 unanswered points in the first half after Bonham tied the score at 14-14.

Two of those points came by safety when Farmersville sophomore Amare Warren tackled a Bonham player in the end zone and retreated to grab the ball after the Warriors fired a snap over their punter’s head.

It was the fifth straight win for Farmersville (5-1, 2-0).
