Officials say four people were arrested following a major drug raid at a property near Fresno County High School

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Four people were arrested after a major drug raid on a Fresno County property Thursday evening.

The raid occurred at a warehouse behind a home near Grantland and Ashlan avenues, next to Justin Garza High School.

On Thursday, investigators with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office learned of possible illegal drug sales thanks to a recent tip from Valley Crime Stoppers.

Distributors associated with the operation called the event Sunday Funday.

Investigators say they learned the events occurred earlier this year.

“What we found inside was a complete production. “Basically imagine a baseball card show or a record show and then you go in and experience different types of drugs,” said Tony Botti with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The discovery led to a trove of drugs, including the seizure of 400 pounds of marijuana, 120 pounds of THC edibles and small amounts of cocaine, ketamine and Xanax.

The seizure also included the seizure of four handguns.

In total, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office arrested four men and interviewed up to 30 people.

None of those arrested are minors.

Jason Oxford, who lives next door, says that every Tuesday and Thursday evening, a dirt parking lot in front of the building was covered with parked cars and hundreds of people.

Oxford said he was not surprised by the discovery.

“Every Tuesday night I can say with certainty that there is a gentleman out here who usually goes in and out wearing a vest,” Oxford explained.

“He says he’s security, but when you ask him what’s going on they just say it’s a private event.”

“This is your home and you want it to be a nice, clean and safe environment. Get in touch. If you know something, let us know because we will look into it,” Botti added.
