Open house for the Howard Street Reconstruction Project on Oct. 17 in Petoskey

Anyone interested in learning more about the plans can attend the open house in the community room at Petoskey City Hall from 4 to 6 p.m.

According to city officials, the project includes the complete reconstruction of Howard Street from Sheridan Street to State Street and a portion of Washington Street from Petoskey Street to Howard Street.

In addition to the reconstruction work, which includes new access roads and concrete sidewalks, the project also includes modernizing the water and electrical systems.
