The specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro have been leaked

Xiaomi will soon launch two new tablets, the Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro. Key specs for both leaked in China today. If you’ve been waiting for a successor to the Pad 6S Pro, this isn’t it. Instead, as the name suggests, they are intended to replace the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, which were launched in April 2023.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and supports 45W wired charging. The Pad 7 Pro, on the other hand, will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 paired with 67W wired charging support.

Xiaomi Pad 6

Both tablets will apparently share the same 11.16-inch LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The 6S Pro will remain on sale as it will continue to be Xiaomi’s top tablet. It’s unclear when exactly the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will launch – it could be as soon as the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are announced later this month.
