Richard Hawkins x Loewe collection: an erotically charged collaboration

Los Angeles-based artist Richard Hawkins provided the backdrop for Jonathan Anderson’s Fall 2024 men’s fashion show for Loewe, and saw the house’s heartthrob muses – from Jamie Dornan and Josh O’Connor to Omar Apollo and Manu Rios – take on the theme of his insane, erotic collages that deal with contemporary celebrity culture. Her iPhone selfies, sometimes shirtless, were combined with Hawkins’ fixations, including Roman statues, French decadence and the glossy guys from 1980s teen magazines, and transferred to screens that resembled stained glass windows.
