Local high school sports recaps for Thursday, October 10th

Girls soccer
Tippecanoe Valley vs. Plymouth

The Tippecanoe Valley girls soccer season came to an end Thursday night in the semifinal round of the 2A sectional tournament as the Lady Vikings lost 9-0 to Plymouth. The team finished the campaign with a record of 0-13.
No statistics were available for the game. Valley will return next season.
Wawasee vs. Culver Academies
Wawasee’s season also ended Thursday night in the semifinal round of the 2A sectional tournament at NorthWood. The Warriors finished the season with a record of 0-14.

Manchester vs Rochester
Manchester advanced to the section championship game at the 1A sectional tournament in Argos on Thursday night, defeating Rochester 6-0 in the semifinals. The Lady Squires are now 11-6 years old this fall.
Ava Sautter had a hat trick in the game and also contributed an assist. Hanna Stout, Campbell Bolinger and Raimi Vawter each also added goals.
Manchester will face LaVille in the championship game at Argos on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Concord in Warsaw

Warsaw completed another perfect Northern Lakes Conference season, claiming its third straight NLC title with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-23) victory over Concord. The Lady Tigers finish the regular season with a record of 25-6, 7-0 in the NLC.
Maggie Hollon led the team with 13 kills in the match. Allison Chapman added nine. Hollon also had two aces, as did CeCe Goode. Avary Hoeppner had 20 assists while Ellie Hepler had 24 digs.
Warsaw begins its playoff run Thursday at Goshen against Elkhart.
Wawasee at NorthWood
Wawasee lost its regular season finale on Thursday night, falling to NorthWood 3-1 (12-25, 19-25, 25-21, 13-25). The Lady Warriors enter the sectionals with a record of 8-17 and finish 0-7 in the NLC.
Mackenzie Hackleman had eight kills in the match and also led the team with 15 digs. Hadley Allen had 11 assists. Abby Dusek had three aces.
Wawasee will face host school West Noble in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday night.
Manchester at Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian
Manchester picked up a win on Thursday night, defeating Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on the road 3-1 (25-20, 25-15, 26-28, 28-26). The Lady Squires are now 22-4 this season.
Elizabeth Renz had 12 kills while Myla Crozier and Ava Felgar had 11 each. Peyton Ream had five aces and 37 assists. Marley Bellinger had 19 digs in the win.
Manchester ends the regular season on Saturday at the Clinton Prairie Invite.
Rochester near Whitko
Whitko picked up a win in its final regular conference game of the season, defeating Rochester 3-1 at home (25-23, 26-24, 19-25, 25-18). The Lady ‘Cats are now 9-16, 3-6 in the Three Rivers Conference.
No statistics were available for the game. Whitko will play in their home opener on Saturday to conclude the regular season on an invitational basis.
