How Oakland Arena will be featured at NBA All-Star Weekend 2025

The NBA’s annual All-Star Weekend, held in the Bay Area this season, has a schedule.

In addition to the All-Star Game on February 16th at Chase Center, the Celebrity Game (February 14th), All-Star Practice (February 15th) and the NBA HBCU Classic at Oakland Arena (February 15th), to secure the Bay The area is broadly involved.

Also included are the Rising Stars Challenge (February 14) and All-Star Saturday Night (February 15) at Chase Center.

Tickets went on sale Friday for the Bay Area’s first All-Star Weekend since 2000.

“We obviously have a long history of the Warriors playing in Oakland, and we view the entire Bay Area as critical to ensuring we reach as many fans as possible in the geographic region,” said Kelly Flatow, the executive vice president President of NBA Global Events.

“It was obvious to make sure we were using both the Oakland Arena and the Chase Center.”

Flatow said the NBA’s presence this weekend will extend beyond the ticketed events: “It’s one of our goals to make sure we appeal to as many fans as possible. Both those who live in the Bay Area and those who come to visit.”

Three games, three lineups: The Warriors used their third starting lineup of the preseason on Friday, starting Stephen Curry, Moses Moody, Gary Payton II, Kyle Anderson and Draymond Green against the Sacramento Kings at Chase Center.

In their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, they started Curry and Green with De’Anthony Melton, Jonathan Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis

On Wednesday against the Kings at Golden 1 Center, Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Kuminga, Green and Kevon Looney were named starters by head coach Steve Kerr.

Before the game, Kerr said: “We just have to take it game by game at first. We want to see a starting lineup formed and definitely some continuity established,” noting that Andrew Wiggins’ illness and subsequent absence affected the way Kerr managed his lineups in preseason .
