Man arrested for rape and video voyeurism

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police arrested a Jonesboro man accused of raping a sleeping person.

Craighead District Judge David Boiling found probable cause to charge 38-year-old Paul Douglas Jenkins with aggravated rape and video voyeurism.

According to the affidavit, police were dispatched to a home on Wednesday, Sept. 4 to speak with the victim.

The victim told police that Jenkins showed her sexually explicit photos taken by Jenkins. The victim added that some of the photos showed Jenkins performing sexual acts on her while she was sleeping.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jenkins on Tuesday, October 8th and he was arrested on Wednesday, October 9th.

He is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center on $200,000 cash bail.

Jenkins’ next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, November 14th.
