Starting XI: How the Orlando Pride line up when they play the Portland Thorns in the West

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Orlando Pride’s roster was cut ahead of their West Coast game with the Portland Thorns.

After winning the NWSL Shield, head coach Seb Hines has decided to rotate many players who have played a lot of minutes this season. Emily Sams, Morgan Gautrat, Marta, Barbra Banda and Adriana will be available from the bench, while Carrie Lawrence, Summer Yates, Julie Doyle, Ally Watt and Evelina Duljan will start in their place.

This is Duljan’s first NWSL league start of her career and her first start with the Pride since the Summer Cup against Racing Louisville on August 1st.

For Lawrence, it’s her first start since July 6 in the Kansas City Current.

On the bench, Haley McCutcheon returns after missing the last few games.
