Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts to celebrate McDonald’s deal

OAKLAND, Calif. – Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts to celebrate the addition of its sweet treats to the McDonald’s menu.

The donut company and the fast food giant announced their partnership earlier this year. The first phase of the expansion began Tuesday at McDonald’s locations in Chicago.

McDonald’s plans to sell Krispy Kreme donuts nationwide by the end of 2026.

To celebrate the expansion, Krispy Kreme is giving away a free donut to customers who present a McDonald’s receipt from October 10-14 at participating locations nationwide.

“This offer is a sweet way to satisfy donut lovers in Chicago as well as fans across the country who are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to enjoy this treat at their local McDonald’s,” Krispy Kreme said in a press release.

Krispy Kreme donuts are delivered daily to McDonald’s, and customers can choose from three flavors: glazed, chocolate glazed and sprinkled, and chocolate glazed and cream filled. They are available all day while supplies last.
