Skidmore opens game at Middlebury; Play at the ITA Cup continues

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. / Rome, Ga. – The Skidmore College women’s tennis team played the first of three days at the Middlebury Panther Challenge on Friday. In addition, the double team of Konika Dhull And Grace Truong played their second of three games at the ITA Cup.

  • Dhull and Truong lost in Georgia to Wesleyan’s Mohsen-Breen and Durkin, 6-1, 6-3.
  • They play Carnegie Mellon’s Chow/Zinchenko in the South Draw semifinals on Saturday morning.
  • At Middlebury, Skidmore played mini-double matches against Colby and host Middlebury.
  • The team of Juliette Ceas And Coco Prokop had the closest fight but lost 6-4 to Gal/Skulley of Colby.
  • On Saturday, Skidmore plays singles against Trinity (10 a.m.) and Colby (1 p.m.) and doubles against Middlebury (3 p.m.).
