Open for Business – The Bradenton Times

Employee report

On Wednesday evening, the community of Bradenton was rocked by a category three hurricane named Milton. As a result, thousands of residents lost power and homes across the county were significantly damaged. In the days that followed, residents gathered together, cleared away the debris and gave those whose power wasn’t yet turned on a place to stay cool and lie down.

Refrigerators have been destroyed and food has spoiled. Local restaurant owners were also affected by the storm. Many still don’t have power, but that won’t stop them from reopening to serve the community in this time of need.

The Bradenton Times has created a list to help residents find places that are open. Please be sure to call before you leave to confirm the store is open in case hours have changed. This article will be updated regularly if your business is open or you know one that has the email address [email protected].
