Xbox is celebrating its anniversary with free downloads you can grab now

Microsoft and Team 10 are celebrating a special birthday, but you’re the one getting the presents

Don’t worry, you didn’t miss the Xbox birthday. That’s next month on November 15th. Make sure you send Microsoft a card.

The anniversary we are celebrating today belongs to one of the life-threatening Xbox franchises; Forza. Get it? Ride or die? Like driving in a car? Okay, not my best. Excuse me.

Forza Developer Turn 10 recently announced this Forza Motorsport turned one year old after its release on October 10, 2023.

“This day was an important moment for the team as we finally had the game in your hands,” Team 10 explained in a blog post on the official Forza website. “However, as you know, it was just the beginning of this journey, it is far from over.”

Check out the game in action below.

“Since release, we’ve improved stability and performance while developing new content and features – many of which were inspired by your feedback. These were released as part of our monthly game updates, and all of this work is part of our ongoing design effort Forza Motorsport into the best game it can be.

To celebrate this beautiful celebration, Team 10 has something special in store for its fans: free stuff. The best stuff.

“As a special gift to our community on our one-year anniversary, all players can look forward to three new, free Mustang cars: the 2024 Ford #25 Mustang RTR, the 2024 Ford #88 Mustang RTR and the 2024 Ford #130 Mustang RTR. These cars can be picked up in the showroom.

They also announced that their “Car Pass holders” will have an additional bonus car available to them – the Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Before you ask: I just googled it and yes, that is the name of a real car.

All of this will be available on October 16th, so Mustang and Forza lovers should mark the date on their calendars – which will probably be Mustang themed.
