Marlon Humphrey is training for the Ravens again

Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey (ankle) and wide receiver Rashod Bateman (groin) returned to practice on Friday, a good sign that they will be able to play against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

After missing practice on Wednesday, both players were limited on Thursday.

The only Ravens not on the field at the start of practice Friday were defensive lineman Broderick Washington (knee) and linebacker Malik Harrison (groin). Neither of them trained all week.

Washington has played 39% of the Ravens’ defensive snaps this season and made four tackles in the first five games. If he doesn’t play, Baltimore could simply roll with four defensive linemen (Nnamdi Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Travis Jones and Brent Urban), or they could activate veteran Chris Wormley from the practice squad.

Harrison played 16% of the snaps and made 10 tackles. The Ravens’ inside linebackers behind Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson are Chris Board and Josh Ross.

On offense, Ronnie Stanley (toe) and Roger Rosengarten (ankle/hand) were limited on Thursday. Reserve guard Sala Aumavae-Laulu (back) returned to training on Friday.

For the Commanders, leading back Brian Robinson Jr., who ranks 14th in the league with 325 rushing yards, will be a mid-game decision, according to head coach Dan Quinn.
