Should Superman still wear trunks on the outside of his suit?

Now that we’ve gotten a close look at David Corenswet’s suit, we know that the Man of Steel will be wearing his iconic underpants in James Gunn’s Superman film next year. When Superman was first created in the 1930s, he was modeled after the strong men of the time. For the sake of modesty, they regularly wore shorts over their skin-tight suits. But almost 100 years later, strong men are a thing of the past, but Superman continues to wear his shorts. I think it’s a fitting nod to his origins, but what do you think? Is it time to finally put them away?

Eiza González should be your next Wonder Woman

The recent casting of Aaron Pierre as John Stewart represents a major turning point in the construction of the new DCU. However, there is one key character whose status is still uncertain: Wonder Woman. It’s currently unlikely that Gal Gadot will return to the role, meaning the Amazon Princess will likely have a new face in the DCU, and I’d like to recommend Eiza González for the role. The Mexican actress has slowly come into her own since her breakout role in Edgar Wright’s 2017 action thriller Baby Driver. This year she established herself as the leading lady in Guy Ritchie’s criminally underrated war comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. González is ready to take on a big role, and who better to do it than Wonder Woman? The 34-year-old actress was already close to landing another major DC role, Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, but Wonder Woman might be just the role for her. What do you think? Who would you choose in the DCU series “Wonder Woman”?

Ok, let’s face it – who should play Doctor Doom in the MCU?

Yes, Marvel has cast Giancarlo Esposito in a secret role – maybe he’s Kang. Maybe he’s Doom. Maybe his Squirrel Girl (the man can do anything). But other than that, who should play Doctor Doom in the MCU? My pick is Alexander Skarsgård – scary when it needs to be, funny when it needs to be, charming, spooky, imposing and everything an MCU doom needs to be. He’s also in the same age group as RDJ when he took on Tony Stark, tall and muscular enough to physically compete with the other Avengers, and just a little weird like Benedict Cumberbatch. Since Doom combines the skills and status of Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Black Panther and Reed Richards, this works for me. What’s wrong with you?

Amy Adams is the best actress of her generation

Amy Adams just turned 50 and her acting legacy is already impressive. The six-time Oscar nominee has given us masterful performances in just about every genre out there; She was a feisty princess in “Enchanted,” the embodiment of virtue in “Doubt,” a tough worker in “The Fighter,” and a tortured soul in “Nocturnal Animals.” Adams’ versatility and willingness to take risks, as well as her willingness to defy conventions and expectations, make her the best actress of her generation. Her two best performances, as the cerebral linguist Louise Banks in Arrival and the self-harming alcoholic Camille Preaker in Sharp Objects, demonstrate not only a remarkable emotional intelligence but also an openness to grapple with the deepest and often darkest aspects of the human condition. Many other actresses of her generation – Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Chastain – are also incredibly talented, but

Is Aliens better than Alien?

One of the cardinal rules of the film industry is that sequels almost always fail to live up to the original. However, there are exceptions to every rule; The Dark Knight, T2 and The Godfather Part 2 all proved otherwise. However, one of the most hotly debated topics was whether the sequel to Ridley Scott’s iconic horror film Alien was better than the original. Personally, I always felt that Aliens took the concept of the original and only improved on it, showing us the full power of what “the perfect organism” is truly capable of. The action, suspense and effects are heightened to a level that makes “Aliens” a must-see film for any science fiction or film fan in general. What do you think?

Have you ever seen an actor’s entire filmography? If so, who was it?

While it is not uncommon to come across completionists who have to watch the entire television series or film series, there are also people who are completionists when it comes to an actor’s filmography. I personally have seen every film in which Christian Bale, Adam Driver and Daniel Brühl have appeared. But I’m curious to know which actors you’ve seen everything they’ve been in, the good AND the bad. Because let’s be honest: not every film has the opportunity to watch it again!
