“Devon” Trailer – Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s Found Footage Film Tracks SCREAMBOX in November

The “Jersey Shore” alum’s directorial debut Jenni “JWOWW” Farleythe found footage horror film Devon was acquired by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting.

Devon will premiere on SCREAMBOX on November 12, 2024.

Unveiled exclusively by Collider this morning, check out the official trailer below.

The film states: “As a group of friends attempt to uncover the truth behind an unsolved disappearance, they unknowingly find themselves at the center of a terrible mystery.”

Here’s the full synopsis: “After their daughter’s mysterious disappearance, Devon’s parents never stopped searching for the truth. After the institution from which she disappeared was condemned, it seemed as if her questions would remain unanswered forever.

“Years later, a cryptic website recruits five brave individuals to explore the abandoned asylum and find out what happened to the girl. Unaware that they are embarking on a dangerous, one-sided journey, these people plunge into the dark depths with only their equipment, resulting in a terrifying and deadly experience.”

A long-time admirer of the genre, Farley takes viewers into a found footage mystery that draws on the real-life horrors of the unknown. And the debut director is no stranger to reality, as the next season of MTV sensation Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premieres later this year.

“I’m thrilled to be diving into horror alongside Cineverse and SCREAMBOX, who have the industry and fandom knowledge to see this happen Devon ends up in the hands of the right audience,” Farley said. “As a long-time reality TV veteran, I’m looking forward to starting this new chapter in the horror film genre, and I hope so.” Devon is just the beginning.”

North American rights were negotiated by Brandon Hill, Executive Director of Acquisitions, and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley.

SCREAMBOX is available to stream on iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast, Cox and SCREAMBOX.com.
