Last year, the Jets and Bills opened the season in New Jersey on “Monday Night Football,” a game where Aaron Rodgers was famously injured in the first four games. New York still won that game 22-16 thanks to a walk-off punt return touchdown by Xavier Gibson in overtime.

This will be the first of two games between these two teams this year, with the second scheduled for December 29th in Buffalo. Since the Bills are just one game ahead of the Jets in the standings, the winner of this game will secure a temporary lead in the division.
