Billy Joel was joined on stage by Axl Rose to perform the song “Live And Let Die” during his show in Los Angeles.

The “Piano Man” hitmaker surprised the California crowd with the Guns N’ Roses frontman during his performance at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 12). The two played a cover of the Wings classic.

Guns N’ Roses released their take on the 1973 James Bond theme – for the Paul and Linda McCartney-penned film of the same name – as the second single from their 1991 LP Use Your Illusion I. Check out footage of Joel and Rose performing the song together below.

Back in July, Joel played his historic 150th – and final – show as part of his Madison Square Garden residency, bringing Rose along to perform a number of songs. Since January 2014, he has played a show every month at the legendary venue.

Late last month, Joel announced two new live shows in the UK – these are his only European tour dates for 2025. So far, these are the only European dates the New York artist has planned for next year, and tickets are available here.

Billy Joel’s European tour dates in 2025 are:

JUNE 2025
7 – Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield
21 – Liverpool, Anfield Stadium

The two exclusive UK shows come just days after the ‘Piano Man’ announced on social media a series of new tour dates across the United States in 2025, with support from Sting and Stevie Nicks.

Additionally, Vampire Weekend recently performed a cover of Joel’s “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant” at Madison Square Garden.
