Adobe lets customers test Firefly AI video generator – Computerworld

One of these is text and image-to-video generation, which Adobe previewed last month and is accessible in the Firefly web app at firefly.adobe.com. This allows users to create five-second videos at 720p resolution from natural language text prompts. These can include realistic video footage and 2D or 3D animations. It’s also possible to create videos using still images as a template, meaning a photo or illustration could be used to create B-roll footage.

For example, to provide greater control over the output, there are options for different camera angles, shot sizes, movements and zooms, while Adobe says it is working on more ways to control the AI-generated video.

Waiting list

Adobe said the video model is trained only using archival footage and public domain data that the company is authorized to use to train its AI models. No customer data or data from the Internet would be used, it said.
