Nice weather in the coming days

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – High pressure will continue to be the driving force for our weather over the next few days. Dry conditions and a breezy northerly wind. As the high slides east, our temperatures will warm slightly, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. However, with clear skies and low dew points, nighttime temperatures can drop into the high 60s and low 70s.

A cold front will approach and move across the area on Wednesday. This will result in a noticeable drop in temperatures, bringing highs into the upper 70s to near 80s along the coast. Nighttime lows will fall to about 60 degrees Wednesday evening, but will rise about 5 degrees each subsequent night until they stabilize at about 70 degrees. There may be a slight chance of showers on Wednesday as the front passes.

Dry weather will continue through the end of the working week, with high pressure in the north. Temperatures will warm slightly over the weekend and a slight chance of rain is possible as humidity increases.
