The city police arrested two people because they were driving without a driver’s license


A speeding vehicle was stopped by a Plymouth police officer early Saturday morning and the driver was arrested.

At 12:15 a.m., the city officer observed the vehicle traveling west on US 30 at 73 MPH in a 50 MPH zone and a traffic stop was conducted at US 30 and Redwood Road.

During the traffic stop, the driver was identified as Enrique Malave-Capitillo, 26, of Chicago. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Malave-Capitillo had never been issued a driver’s license. He was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a misdemeanor count of never being a licensed operator.

A short time later, at approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday morning, October 12, a Plymouth Police officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation on Walnut Street, north of Jefferson Street. The driver was identified as Jose E. Avilez-Siles, 33, of Plymouth. It was also discovered that Avilez-Siles was never issued a driver’s license. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and charged with misdemeanor never licensed operator.
