Trend Vision One achieves Google Cloud Ready status for Regulated Industries – Security

Cybersecurity provider Trend Micro announced that its Trend Vision One – Sovereign and Private Cloud (SPC) solution has achieved Google Cloud Ready – Regulated and Sovereignty Solutions status.

The newly acquired status is important for organizations in highly regulated industries with strict data sovereignty requirements.

Mick McCluney, ANZ’s field chief technology officer at Trend, noted the partnership’s focus on flexibility and innovation.

“As a Google Cloud Ready partner, we are committed to providing our customers with unmatched flexibility – whether in the cloud, on-premises or anywhere in between,” said McCluney.

This development builds on Trend’s existing collaboration with Google Cloud, which includes protection for Google Workspace, mobile security for Android, and Trend Vision One on the Google Cloud Marketplace since 2023.

Trend Micro’s AI-powered cybersecurity platform currently protects hundreds of thousands of organizations and millions of individuals across various digital environments, the security provider said.
